Launch your adventure or stroll the village, Orcas Island provides a spectrum of activities for everyone.
Located in the heart of the San Juan Islands, Orcas Island is home to numerous kayak touring companies and whale watching. Bring your kayak and launch at North Beach to explore Sucia (pictured above), Matia or Patos.
Feeling like a hike? Moran State Park, just minutes away, provides trails and a wonderful view at the top of Mt. Constitution. Cascade Lake at Moran State Park has paddleboard, paddle boat, and kayak rentals during the summer.
Shopping sound like the type of exertion you're up to? Check out the numerous antique stores, clothiers, restaurants, coffee shops, and did we mention ice cream. Sol Mate is located in the heart of the village so everything is within an easy stroll.
Whales. Take a whale watching tour where you're guaranteed to see Orcas.

Or simply stay in. Read a book. Cook, nap or just Netflix and chill. :)






Day 1
Walk the village. Get an ice cream cone and chocolate truffles. Do lunch. Go Shopping. Get a drink. Later, drive to West Beach Resort to see the sunset.
Day 4
Chill on the couch. Recharge. Visit the bookstore. Sip coffee or tea. Binge Netflix.
Day 2
Get wet. Whale watching. Kayak tour or a lesson. Swimming at Cascade Lake.
Day 5
Hike or Bike. Mt. Constitution and Moran State Park. Turtleback Mountain. Obstruction Pass State Park.
Day 3
Go Island hopping. Plan ahead and take a ferry to Friday Harbor for the day. More shopping. Bowling. Pictures from the Ferry.
